Behavioral survey

HEARTEN survey aims to understand to what extent the HEARTEN mHealth solution and the related services could be adopted in different heath systems existing in EU.

In EU exist at least four types of healthcare systems.

- Τhe Scandinavian and Continental healthcare systems present a prevalence of no means-tested principles

- The UK and Ireland healthcare systems are, on the contrary, based on means-tested principles.

- The Mediterranean countries are based on principles of social assistance and due to the recent strong economic crisis this approach is moving toward a non means-tested based service.

- The eastern Central Europe countries have a limited state provision of healthcare services and a strong tradition of families’ responsibility for care.

We are conducting an on-line survey aiming to collect statistical evidences in at least 6 EU MS with about 3.600 patients.
